i know this post is old , but how hard was changing your grill and putting in the Gli grill? thinking about doing it myself, it looks nasty

... blackout e codes tho so thats where i'm beginning. Already did the vag com mods, gonna pull the grill and paint it kinda like dubsessed did his only i'm ditching the chrome. Prolly gonna be awhile ...

Well... I got the front grill. Unfortunately I didn't think far enough ahead to buy an emblem so I'll be picking one of those up tomorrow. I'll start getting some ...

i dont think so. but it might not match. im not sure haha. i forgot what the lower grill looks like. check to see if they are the same?

Would you need to buy the lower grills too if you already had a stock (chrome) grille?

I've been debating on whether to get the ecs honeycomb grill set or the oem gti grill set. Both are on ecs website. Is there a difference? am i getting the same stuff or no. ...

I'm not sure how I feel about that purple plaid grill. ive seen other pics... that grille color gets changed frequently on that car Yeah it was with with red and black stripes ...
