2 days ago, I removed the splitter from the front lip...it actually broke!!!!!!!! Hung down too low, too much scraping LOL Screwy Then today the rear rooftop spoiler was rattling as I was driving to Montreal....it's a 15 hr drive, needless to say, i tried to get er done as fast as possible...had some speeding buddies on the way, a Mazda RX8, and an Si was also trying to keep up. Amyways, the rattling started to scare me, thought it would come flying off, so I pulled over and removed it. Besides I thought someone might steal it while Im parked in Montreal and Toronto as it's not very well attached.....gotta do it myself, the body shop did a sloppy job with it!! errr

I got it back yesterday! I drove it today. I wanted to spend a good couple hours cleaning it but it rained all day long, and is supposed to stay rainy and cloudy for awhile. By the way...anyone know if there is something special I need to do when washing/waxing parts that just got painted? My hood and bumper are brand new and wanna know if I need to do somethin special to em.

I don't think you are supposed to wax for like 30 days - to let the clearcoat cure.

I spent several hours unscrewing the mile-long OEM antenna and screwing in a stubby one from ECS Tuning.

Whew! I definitely needed a couple of beers after that!

I did swap out the OEM radio last week and put in a Bluetooth-enabled single-din Blaupunkt Hamburg MP68. It blends in very nicely with the interior. Answering calls while shifting gears is not a recommended activity.

That, on the other hand, was a piece of cake...
