hi guys... been here INTENSIVELY almost obsessed with my car for maybe a month??
i always loved cars, specially mine (jettas, vdub and germans) and since i found ALL OF YOU, and a LOT OF PEOPLE LIKE ME, i became worse...!!! lol... i feel normal now!!! ( i am the only one within my family, friends, etc who TRULY enjoys and likes a car)

i will post pics of my car, later this week... my prob is that my cam takes pics in a size bigger than allowed in teh site... so i have to reduce them to make them fit....

short story of me... emm.. venezuelan/ american grew up on and off in both places... currently 19, going on 20 on july 1st...on college, for mechanical eng... also a pilot and some times i run ( last year i did the chicago marathon) 3 years with the gf, live by myself, work all afternoons (kook, clean, everuthing alone..:D) and SOMEHOW i have spare time...

got the first jetta (laser blue) when i moved here (definetely) on agust...
the baby became mine on 08/18/07 a brand new 20miles lb jetta 2008 2.5... on 01/16/09 crashed it... total loss and loosing some of the mods... ... geico gave a 2009 plat grey and a huge increase on my bill... and i am currently modding that one..!

was going around 55 in a dirt/ gravel road with my EXTREME ULTRA SUPPER ... summer TIRES... and well, i hit a hole, the car couldnt get a grip, started skidding ( uncontrolled drift..) there was a little "dirt ramp" and, since i was already uncontrolled... it made me jump and flip... did a couple of rolls... and then it landed on its side.... ( driver window was in the floor...).. what happened the was funny ( i laugh now!) i take my seat belt off, and while i am assessing the damage, i see that i have to get out right?? so i think of JAMES BOND, and breaking the window with my feet.. then i remember pinaple express and thought that with MY luck, ill prolly get my foot stick on the windshield... so i climb out of the passengers window... and there is a POLICE OFFICER waiting outside calling 911... he goes "are you stupid?!?!" why are you drifting?" then i snap " dont you think that i was SKIDING!! or you think that i just wanted a new car??"
then he starts looking at me and says "you need to go to the hospital ASAP!"
me (always trying to see a funny side of ANY sit) i look a him, then at the car, and say "could you please give me a ride??" and i start laughing... and he looks at me and says that my hidrenaline levels must be out of the chart...( or that there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with me)... but after the 5th joke he realized i just like this...

Check my builders thread. I did stock size slotted/drilled Schwaben rotors along with Hawk ceramic brake pads. Turned out very nice. Check it out...

Nice ride.... After your comment I was looking for your owners thread... now you got one! We do have a bit of the same pieces, but when you look a little deeper it's quite different! Needless to say; you have good taste! Looks like you've surpassed me in mods though! I need a little more loot before I can get the stuff I really want!! Get some more pics up of the grey!
